Hey Folks,
Are you searching for top IT companies that are LGBTQ-friendly?
In this Publicis Sapient review, know how PS is ensuring that the LGBTQ community is equally treated inside and outside the organization. I will
discuss job opportunities also.
Awards and Work done for LGBTQ Community
- Publicis Sapient received the “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” accolade by receiving a perfect 100 rating on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI). This accolade has been received by PS for 3 years consecutively from 2020 to 2022.
- Here LGBTQ Equality lasts beyond the PRIDE month, with initiatives and awareness programs going all year-round. Awareness emails and sessions were organized year-round, where teams were educated on Binary Gender and Unconscious Biases in the workplace.
- During the PRIDE month in June 2021, various events and campaigns were run by PS for awareness and recognition of the LGBTQ community within the organization. People shared stories and motivated each other.
- Publicis Sapient recently conducted a webinar for college students called “Be Brave” in January, 2022. In this webinar, they collaborated with GiftAbled NGO, and the theme was spreading awareness on “inclusivity at the workplace”. It opened people’s minds and raised awareness on different issues.
Job opportunities in Publicis Sapient for the LGBTQ community
There are no particular opportunities or jobs defined for the LGBTQ
community. They can apply in the usual job postings. I love that there are no
specific criteria for people as it gives them an equal chance to prove their
capabilities and technical skills.
Although Publicis Sapient is working on diverse technologies,
you should read the latest news on collaborations and partnerships to get an
idea. Such information is beneficial for secondary job search, and you should
upskill yourself in those complementary technologies. For example, if you are a
Java developer, you could learn Blockchain and NFT. Publicis Sapient recently
partnered with Portion, an online art marketplace where NFTs are currencies.
Java, Blockchain, Cloud computing experience may be beneficial in this project,
and there may be job openings regarding this in the future.
