I applied for the Senior Java developer position in Bangalore in January, 2021. I had one online coding test and two technical rounds before the recruiter generated an offer letter.
How did I prepare for the interview?
Whenever I start giving interviews, I do online research for
that organization. Similarly, I read online Publicis Sapient Bangalore reviews
to understand the type of questions asked and their existing clients. I read
some case studies present on their official website to understand their
projects better. Furthermore, I searched the interviewer’s profile on LinkedIn
to understand his position, work responsibilities and project in Publicis
Sapient better. Finally, I explored some popular interview questions for Java
people.
The above analysis helped me a lot during technical interview rounds. When the interviewer was explaining project requirements, I could relate to the project and overall business needs better.
Below is a list of some concepts which I was asked during
the interview:
·
Multithreading, concurrency and parallel data
processing in Java 8
·
Spring framework questions on design approach,
MVC framework
·
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years in
the Java domain?
·
Tell some challenges you faced in the project
and what was the solution?
Apart from technical questions, some behavioral questions
about team-handling, conflict management and client communication were also
asked.
