Publicis Sapient organizes several events throughout the year. The primary events include -
1. Strategy Summit – This is a global
event, which is broadcasted across all PS offices. Nigel Vaz, Global CEO of PS,
addresses the audience (employees across the PS office). The event majorly focuses
on the company’s plan for the year. It’s also a platform for the company to
introduce new worldwide programs for employees that focus on their development
and growth. Aspire Awards, which is a global recognition for PS employees
worldwide also takes place during the event.
Jumpstart – This is a flagship event hosted by Publicis Sapient to hire entry-level/engineering graduates for engineering roles. The entire process from job application to tests, interviews, and facilitating the winners takes 2-3 months. If you’re an engineering student, you can apply for it.
3. Product Spotlight – This event focuses
on hiring B-school graduates for product management roles. Students are
presented with a business problem and asked to submit a business plan.
Shortlisted candidates are awarded and often get a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO).
4. Spring – This is perhaps the best event
hosted by Publicis Sapient. The event focuses on enabling women on their career
breaks back to work. Women who are on their career break can apply and find job opportunities at
Publicis Sapient.
The program offers mentorship and assistance to shortlisted candidates as they re-join the workforce and continue to manage their work-family responsibilities.
5. Java Hackathon, XE Summit, The Rising,
etc: Publicis Sapient organizes regular events for developers for their
respective crafts. Java, for instance, is a huge domain at PS. Java hackathon
enables developers to engage in projects other than their work, helping them upskill
themselves.
Similarly, the data analytics team is strengthening at PS. The company organizes
The Rising to recognize budding data analysts. The event is open to data
science folks, outside Publicis Sapient as well. The
company organizes similar events for frontend folks, including Angular, React,
Android and iOS developers.
