My Publicis Sapient review on XT eSummit for Front-End Developers

 Hey all,

On 8th June, 2022, Publicis Sapient India organized XT eSummit, a virtual all-day event. This event was relevant for Front-End developers, React developers, UX/UI designers, DevOps developers and other related people who work around these technologies. People from around the world could attend this external event by pre-registration.

If you have missed attending the event, we have got you covered.

Below are some of the highlights:

I liked the keynote session as it started the event with a bang. Initial videos beautifully depicted XT eSummit’s evolution over the years and what to expect.

The keynote speaker was Rakesh Ravuri, CTO of Publicis Sapient, and he was presenting from a virtual space which gave the vibes of a Metaverse summit. I attended this kind of professional summit for the first time; hence the experience was novel to me.

He introduced "Emerging Engineering Experiences" and talked about Metaverse predominantly. From sharing the general knowledge about Metaverse to interacting with it using the Mayasabha platform; it was so exciting to experience Metaverse in this amazing session.

Blockchain was explored in a separate session where the impact of Web3 technologies in application development was discussed in the session “Interacting with Ethereum blockchain basics using Web3.js”.

Besides this, there were several non-coding sessions which were equally important for developers. Cognitive disabilities are often non-visible disabilities and fewer applications are built keeping them in mind. Hence, I loved listening to different cognitive disabilities and how developers have a responsibility to create accessible applications through early design and Azure cloud services.

Product Managers’ goal in the product development phase is to make their applications addictive so that the user base increases exponentially and their product gains good traction in the market in the initial months only. “Engineering Life: An Experiential Look into Habit Loop” session explored how brands work deeply, keeping in mind the psychology of consumers. Although I am not a product owner, this knowledge has opened my eyes to different ways of thinking.

The XT eSummit is a must-attend event where people can get an idea of different learning opportunities. It gave me some ideas on which course and technology to explore next for my career growth.
