7 reasons why Publicis Sapient is the best company for Women

Married women/Working mothers often doubt work culture and long-term feasibility in IT MNCs. Very few women remain in the developer field and switch to QA profiles. So, which Indian IT MNC would be best for you in the long run when you have increased family responsibilities?

I have been working at Publicis Sapient for some time, so I have observed Publicis Sapient Bangalore's work culture from all angles. The organization is a well-known name in the Indian IT MNCs list, and almost every IT professional recognize its name. It is a good brand name to be associated with and start your career.

Below are some of the reasons why PS is the best workplace for women:

  1. Permanent Remote work option available: Publicis Sapient has adopted a hybrid work policy where people can choose which working option will work best for them. People can go to office frequently, on a rotational basis or choose to work from home. Work location decision is personal depending on work needs. The Flexi-work policy applies to everyone in the organization, even if they live nearby office locations. One of my Bangalore teammates has a 9-month-old baby and an ailing mother-in-law living. Due to her special needs, she took the permanent work-from-home option.
  2. Prioritizing Mental Health at work:  Mental health issues such as anxiety and mental load are seriously considered in Publicis Sapient. In case of a personal crisis and need some advice, you can reach out to the anonymous helpline of Publicis Sapient’s Mental Health Ambassadors. I took advice from them 6 months back, and it was helpful.
  3. Special Growth Options available for Women: In March 2022, the organization announced a growth program tailor-made for women. It is called RISE, as shown in the pic below:

  1. Work and Project flexibility: PS has plenty of projects in almost every technical and functional domain for multiple clients. You can switch projects internally in a cross-domain or the same domain as per your interest area.
  2. Transparent work policies: All policies are well documented in comprehensive detail in PS. Also, employee policies are revised frequently to keep up with changing times and suit current needs.
  3. An ample number of Vacation leaves: We get around 40 annual leaves in total, including public holidays. We can take leaves for sickness or family issues without any judgement. On my Birthday, my teammates told me to take at least a half-day leave as these days are special.
  4. School-friendly office timings: PS has official working hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. For parents, these hours are ideal as most of the morning kids are in school and can devote the evening to family.

I have told benefits from my perspective; you can also read old Sapient Razorfish reviews to find how work culture and women's benefits have evolved over the years.
