What benefits do you get at Publicis Sapient after 5 years in the company?

Completing 5 years in a company is an achievement, but how do you celebrate it? 

What do some of the best IT MNCs in India including Publicis Sapient, Deloitte, Accenture and Cognizant, do to improve employee morale? And most importantly, what are the current benefits after five years in a company? In this Publicis Sapient company review, I am telling the tangible and intangible benefits of working in PS for long-term.

My team is full of members who are here for long time, some have even completed 10 years here. Hence, I am sharing some of their experiences here:

 

Tangible Benefits 

You are eligible for Gratuity, once you complete five years in any IT organization in India. Some companies also provide the option of NPS contribution from the employer's side. This is something I have less clarity on, but you can ask.

 

Non-tangible benefits of more than 5 years in Publicis Sapient:

These benefits cannot be measured in money or any physical form, but they matter most for psychological and emotional needs. If you have worked in any company for more than 5 years, then you have seen many ups and downs in your career and shared some chunk of personal life with team members.

 

Work-life balance & Work flexibility

Although many IT companies have a bad reputation for 15 hours working, it is dependent on one’s project. People who have been working in PS for 5 years have shared that working for more than 8 hours is normal in the IT industry but having a sense of when to stop is necessary. A healthy work-life balance is maintained when people and their managers have strong bonding.

One of my teammates, Nitin, is suffering from severe back pain for the past 10 days. Now, he has been advised to rest and do daily physiotherapy. He takes 2 hours of break daily for his sessions and is given leverage to maintain his schedule as per his health requirements. This is a very big deal that an organization is giving you the flexibility to work anywhere, flexibility to work anytime as per your health and personal life.
